Casa Poporului, official today: Palace of the Parliament (Romanian: Palatul Parlamentului) in Bucharest, Romania. It contains both chambers of the Romanian Parliament. The Casa Poporului in Bucuresti is the world's largest building, second only to the Pentagon. Accordingly, it is also the most expensive administrative building, and heaviest building.

Initially, the Casa Poporului in Bucharest was build up by Ceauşescu. Nicolae Ceauşescu himself called it House of the Republic (Casa Republicii). However, most people in Romania still call it the People's House (Casa Poporului).

The Casa Poporului measures some 270 m by 240 m, is some 86 m high, and goes 92 m under ground. 1,100 rooms, 2 underground parking garages and is 12 stories tall, and four underground levels, further four make the building in Bucharest of course one of the most interesting attractions of the world.
