Brasov Center
Braşov (Hungarian: Brassó; German: Kronstadt; in Medieval Latin even Brassovia or Corona) is the seventh largest city of Romania and the capital of the county Brasov. Brasov city has a population of nearly 285.000 citizens, often called »Brasovean« (female: Brasoveanca). Brasov lies in the Center part of Romania and belongs to Transylvania. As it is sourrounded by the Carpathians it is renowned for its skiing opportunities.
